If your thinking “I’m not really that creative” then let me change that thought with you! This workshop provides the materials, resources, and collaboration central to the tradition of hand block printing. Block printing is ridiculously satisfying. It’s meditative, slow and the results can be electric! I will also have some pre exposed silk screens with motifs.
We will have the opportunity to carve our own block on the day and combine our work with the ready carved wooden blocks.
We will pack a delicious amount of pure print bliss into our 5 hour workshop. You will be thrilled with your hand printed Irish linen pieces. What a way to spend the day!
There will be a large selection of colour dyes specially for fabric.
Situated in the fabulous Fumbally Stables in Dublin 8.
There will be a light lunch provided and hot drinks for you to enjoy.
